Houston Solar Power by Trim Electric is the path to a Green Future

The city of Houston is known as the “Energy Capital of the World” and our progressive city may one day be known as the “Solar Energy Capital of the World”. The City of Houston is committed to achieving a sustainable solar infrastructure through strategic partnerships that address market barriers for solar energy. The “Houston Solar Initiative” (the name of Houston’s Solar America Cities project) is dedicated to this long-term goal while focusing on near- and mid-term results that go beyond experimental solar projects.

Trim Electric has been progressive with its own Houston Solar Power initiative and has already began cross-training its current employees with Solar / Photovoltaic installation training. With Houston's goal of becoming a top US solar city, Trim Electric's management decided to start a separate sister company called Emerald Natural Resources Group (ENRG) - also known as Emerald NRG - to work towards the goal of making Houston a solar power in the United States.
